Palácio da Comenda

The Restored Jewel of Arrábida

A Timeless Refuge, Reborn

Located 40 minutes away from the center of Lisbon and set between the Serra da Arrábida and the meeting of the Sado River with the Atlantic, the Comenda estate has been a place of refuge for centuries. Designed in the early 1900s by architect Raul Lino, the palace became an elegant retreat that welcomed notable guests, including members of the Kennedy family. After years of abandonment, it has now been carefully restored, honouring its remarkable history and exceptional natural setting.
